V placements
Do you want to make a real difference to your environment and work with others to make it happen?
BTCV at Skelton Grange Environment Centre in Leeds, working with V and National Grid, offers volunteer placements for young people aged 16-25 with a passion for the environment. You could spend 6 months learning how to teach kids about the world around them, trying your hand at a variety of practical conservation skills and activities such as publicity, IT and wildlife surveying.
- 4 placements available for 16-25 year olds
- 6 month placements start in January and July each year
- 4 days per week
- Up to £75 per week living expenses paid
- NVQ level 2 in Environmental Conservation or other accreditation
- A great experience!

All placements are given full training to become involved in delivering educational activities at Skelton Grange Environment Centre for schoolchildren, and have the opportunity to get involved in all areas of our work.
