We can work with your whole staff team, teaching you a range of games and activities for all ages that can be used to complement many areas of the primary curriculum and add a practical angle to classroom teaching. We focus on hands-on activities that encourage children to have fun outdoors, whilst exploring and making sense of the natural world, encouraging empathy with the plants and animals around us. Nature Play with Early Years

Outdoor play is a statutory requirement in Early Years and Nature Play, playing in and with nature, is a crucial part of this.

Aimed at staff who work with early years children, in a children's centre, nursery or school setting, this course will introduce lots of fun, creative hands-on activities that can be used to help very young children explore, enjoy and make sense of the world around them. We introduce activities suited to all seasons and settings, and include many that don't need lots of expensive kit.

We can also look at  the benefits of nature play, how to manage risk, including looking at good risk and bad risk, and how to enhance opportunities for Nature Play in your school grounds.  Take a look at the course flyer (pdf format, 195k) for more information.
