Want to go Wild in the Woods?

Wild in the Woods programmes include:

 

  • 2 two consecutive day sessions  (school holidays only)
  • Wild in the Woods taster days (term-time only)
  • 12 week programme, one day per week (term-time only)
  • 6 week programme, one day per week (term-time only)

All 12 and 6 week programmes also include a pre-visit session in the group's setting and a presentation, evaluation and follow up session, when visits to the woods are complete.

The Wild in the Woods project is suitable for school groups from Year 4 - Year 7 in term time and young people aged 9 - 12 from holiday groups.

Each programme works with groups of 12 children.

But is it all safe?

All activities carried out on this project are fully risk assessed and are delivered by experienced, Forest Schools qualified staff. BTCV also follows a Code of Practice for safeguarding the safety and welfare of children and young people.
