Eco-Centre
In 2002 we were awarded the green flag award and are currently working towards renewing this status. The Eco-Centres award scheme (managed by Encams) is an extension of the international Eco-Schools award scheme and is designed to help make environmental awareness and action an intrinsic part of the life and ethos of the centre - both for staff and visitors.Since we recieved the award some significant changes have taken place at Skelton Grange including the move to our new purpose-built centre and significant development of our grounds. We are currently reviewing our environmental impacts and updating our action plan for future targets, hoping to build upon the systems we already have in place and introduce new improvements.
